The Ladymaker
The Ladymaker was founded in Lagos in 2016 and has since established an own aesthetic of strong, subtle womanhood. Ifeyinwa Azubike, the company's founder, received training at the Istituto di Moda Burgo (Lagos Campus) and went on to start The Ladymaker after quitting a ten-year job as a business lawyer.
A passionate advocate of an African vision of a well-dressed woman, The Ladymaker is renowned for her commitment to fit. Every one of our designs is manufactured by hand in the Ladymaker workshop in Lagos, Nigeria, by a group of pan-African employees under the direction of Azubike.
In 2018, the brand established its main location in Oniru, Lagos' Victoria Island.
