Florentina Agu is a Nigerian female fashion designer behind the unique brand. She is located in Lagos who creates clothing from distinctive fabrics for the ambitious lady. She had always had an eye for stylish apparel as a youngster, and by the age of 13, she had begun attending dressmaking lessons.
When she became faculty president in her third year of college, she learned the energising effect of dressing appropriately for the occasion. She wore a suit to all of her meetings and conferences. During those sessions, she began to notice how empowered, confident, and comfortable she felt in her clothing.
She wants women all across the world to feel confident at work and at play every day. Hertunba, her women's apparel brand, was born as a result of this. Every Hertunba ensemble is refined, beautiful, and undoubtedly feminine.
Florentina is an avid environmentalist, and at the heart of Hertunba is a desire to create ecologically responsible designs, with some of her most popular designs using recycling and the use of leftover material. Hertunba is a combination of the term "Her" with the Yoruba title "Otunba." A Hertunba lady is a powerful woman who possesses the confidence, flair, wisdom, and charm to succeed in any business.

13 million tonnes of textiles are discarded each year. 95 percent of these fabrics are reusable or recyclable. Hertunba lowers landfill waste by up-cycling trash created during manufacturing; 90% of our surpluses become wearable art or handcrafted interior décor art pieces like carpets and toss cushions.
In addition, 10% of our net profit is donated to a programme that gives adult education to underprivileged Nigerian women. We feel that in order to safeguard the girl child, her mother must be educated.
Hertunba is a combination of the words "Her" and "Otunba" in Yoruba. A Hertunba lady is a powerful woman who possesses the confidence, flair, wisdom, and charm to succeed in any business.
