Ecommerce coordinator

Summary: The ecommerce coordinator is a hands-on position focused on handling day-to-day ecommerce responsibilities of our websites and marketing. This role will be responsible for ecommerce efforts including uploading and modifying products, implementing promotions & marketing content, conversion rate and performance improvement initiatives, and functionality optimization. In addition, this person will collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, and the Product team to increase customer satisfaction and drive sales and profitability through online experience. You will help build, and keep up to date Fashtracker ecommerce websites and its subsidiaries with an emphasis on uploading and managing great content (written and imagery), and products. This will include implementation of marketing campaigns designed to increase online traffic and acquire new customers, and campaigns to retain our current customers. The role is based in Lekki Phase 1, 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday.


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years experience in an e-commerce environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Content writing (descriptions, blog posts, copy etc)
  • Interested in fashion and must have a good eye for it

A Plus

  • Proficiency in Adobe suite or other content editing applications
  • A general understanding of SEO, PPC and other marketing functions.


Product uploads and edits: 

-You will upload brand images and descriptions (on the rare occasion that a brand partner can’t)

-You will edit existing uploads by brand partners to meet up to company standards.


Customer Correspondence: 

-You will answer customer emails, messages and phone calls.


Website maintenance and merchandising:

-You will be responsible for ensuring that all pages (product, home page, blog, categories) are up to standard at all times

-You will need to check that all sizes, prices, descriptions and spelling are correct. (A weekly sweep of all new products)


-On occasion, you may need to create simplistic banners and graphics for marketing purposes. (Using Canva mostly) 



-You will liaise with vendors, customers and other stakeholders on a daily basis


Bi-Weekly Strategy Meetings: Employee will partake in 2 weekly Fashtracker strategy meeting on Mondays at 10am and Fridays at 4pm 

(brainstorming ideas, giving feedback on the week prior, and plans for the new week)



Fashtracker Man and are subsidiaries we plan on launching later in 2021.

We will start populating the marketing channels with user generated content in April 2021.
