Today we spotlight amazing women achieving great things in the corporate world. These ladies also enable those in the creative sectors, and are supporters, and wearers of African fashion!
Roberta Annan is the founder of the African Fashion Foundation, and Impact Fund for African Creatives. Based in Ghana, she is also an investor, philanthropist, and a United Nations Environment Programme Goodwill Ambassador. She Is the foremost invested stakeholder within the African fashion industry, and has single handedly enabled hundreds of African creatives.
Tosin Faniro Dada was previously the director of programmes, for the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund. She led programs providing finance for small and mid-sized businesses and other support for local entrepreneurs. She now works with Nigerian entrepreneurs to help them scale with the aim of not just impacting the business but also having a multiplier effect on the wider economy - She does this as the CEO and Managing Director of Endeavour Nigeria.
Arese Ugwu is an author, an executive producer, and a finance expert who founded Smart Money Africa which, a personal finance platform tailored to the African millennial. She is also the author of a book called The Smart Money Woman: An African Girl’s Journey to Financial Freedom. Her book was turned into a television series, which Arese produce - It also aired on Netflix, and has since become one of the most viewed African produced series on the streaming platfrom.
